CONVEYANCING SECRETARY


I have experience of LEAP Legal Software and Infotrack and can assist solicitors and lawyers with property transactions as a freelance Conveyancing Secretary:


  • Liaising with clients, agents and other legal professionals
  • Preparing conveyancing quote via Infotrack, sending to client with relevant paperwork
  • Opening and managing files including electronic files using LEAP Legal Software, sending paperwork to client for completion and return
  • Preparing and reviewing legal correspondence and documents
  • Making Land Registry applications (AP1s) via Infotrack and reviewing/replying to Land Registry Requisitions
  • Carrying out and reviewing title searches; ordering other searches as necessary
  • Carrying out ID/AML searches using SmartSearch software; sanctions checks and conflict checks
  • Preparing invoices and completion statements in readiness for completion
  • Typing lengthy correspondence (emails, letters, enquiries and replies to enquiries)
  • Managing appointments and meeting deadlines
